Notably, ministry of health decided to complete them within three months. The ministry sets a strategic plan for rehabilitating handicapped in Iraq. That plan secures establishing five hospitals and more than 38 specialized centers for medical rehabilitation, besides modernizing 10 factories and workshops for limbs and sticks. The ministry's spokesman said that the plan sets until 2007 aims at developing medical rehabilitation services in Iraq and secure enough buildings. The ministry decided to establish five specialized hospitals in medical rehabilitation housing 120-150 beds in addition to developed rehabilitation centers, notably, Iraq's requirement for rehabilitation and health services for all handicapped relying on evaluation. He clarified that the plan aims to secure specialized cadres through modernizing post graduate studies, Ph.D in field of medical rehabilitation and concerned specializations depending on a plan for primary studies in field of rehabilitation and health services.
