Iraqi oil minister announced boosting the crude oil export of the country on the month of April, in compare to its previous month.
The Minister of Oil Abdul Karim Luaybi said "Iraq's exports of crude oil reached 2.6 million barrel per day in April."
On his visit to South Korea, he said that stoppage of the oil products from Kurdistan Region's oil fields which are up to 250000 barrel per day is regrettable thing. He clarified that the ministry is looking forward to export 2.9 million barrels per day. However, for that exports from the northern Iraqi oilfields have to be counted. In this regard negotiations are underway.
