The completion of the rehabilitation works on the first unit of Haditha Dam Hydro-Electric Station after completing the preliminary tests for the unit, has been reported by the ministry of Electricity.
Musab al-Mudaris, spokesperson from the ministry has remarked that the first unit is completely ready for accessing and carrying out all operations. Since, 1991, the unit was stopped and now it has been reopened for sake of the energy production of the nation.
He also added that The Haditha Station comprises six hydro-electric units of 110 mega-watts per each unit. Croatian Ankra Company worked in this rehabilitation process, as reported by Mr. Musab al-Mudaris.
