Oil pumping and filling reservoirs started in Iraq’s Badra oilfield

Assem Jihad, oil ministry spokesperson for Iraq, said that operations of the oil pumping and filling the reservoirs within the CPU in the field of Badra oil started from the wells (BD5, BD4).

He also mentioned that the process comes as a prelude to the export of crude oil from field after it was linked in strategic pipeline. He further informed that the process of filling reservoir, which has started this week, has been scheduled to end in the next month.

According to his statement, it has been revealed that the current production from the wells is more than 15000 barrels per day.
